Our philosophy is that music is for everyone—whether you're young or old, experienced or just beginning. We provide opportunities for people to get together in supportive groups to learn, play, and sing. In November 2006, we offered an eight-week workshop on finding your voice, called Rise Up Singing. I got the title from a song lyric in Summertime... "One of these mornings you're gonna rise up singin' Then you'll spread your wings and you'll take to the sky..." Gradually we added more to the roster, and soon we were adding workshops like Eve Goldberg's "Three-Chord Wonder" (beginner guitar)...so we decided to change our overall name to All Together Now. We still offer the original Rise Up Singing workshops and lots more.
